Merryhill has recently completed works at the Brackenhale Academy site in Bracknell. This project has been carried out in a number of phases over the past 2 years as old blocks have been demolished and new areas of the school constructed. The project is part of a large framework contract for refurbishing / constructing schools in the area.

This final stage of the works involved the removal of asbestos insulation board shuttering to the floor slab of one of the remaining buildings after demolition.

The shuttering had been used sporadically during construction and needed to be completely removed prior to the footings being removed.

As a proud member of ARCA, Merryhill have 3 unannounced audits per year as part of our membership terms.

On this phase of the works, the auditor was very pleased with the site and how the works were being carried out, awarding an A-Grade.

Along with visits from the HSE throughout the year, such unannounced audits are a good opportunity for constructive feedback from external sources. These audits, along with our own site inspections are used to check our performance and act upon any opportunities for improvements.
